What should you not pack when moving?

Don’t Make These Mistakes When You Move

Moving is an extremely stressful experience for everyone involved. There’s a lot to think about, from packing to transferring utilities and changing your address. It’s easy to overlook the minor details in the midst of the chaos, but there are some items you should never pack when moving.

Household cleaners, lighter fluid, and fertilizer are all extremely flammable and should be avoided. Perishables, of course, should be consumed or discarded prior to the move; you don’t want to risk them spoiling during transport. For your own safety, keep ammunition, car batteries, and moving documents with you at all times. Finally, rather than risk losing cash, jewelry, and other valuables during the move, it is always best to leave them at home.

Moving can be stressful, but by following these simple tips you can avoid making costly mistakes. Be sure to pack wisely and keep track of your most valuable belongings; by doing so you can make your move as seamless as possible.
